The Importance of Routine
Use it or lose it. Cliches suck, I hate them. I think it’s because they feel they have a monopoly on truth… And as I sit here on the Caltrain lurching into the city on public transportation, cliches are all that come to mind.

To me routine in itself is a cliche, one of everyday life… nonetheless routine is important… In moderation as with all things…
For instance every time I leave the house I check for my keys, phone and go through my camera ritual, batteries, cards, film… Check…

Without this routine I would struggle to survive the everyday. I’d never be ready to take photographs. As it stands I feel my routine is in my way… Lately I find my images cliche, routine, uninspired and derivative. All things cliche about photography critique.
I, now realizing this post is drifting into a self loathing celebration, am setting out to break this loop of repetition or in my own cliche find comfort.
Wish me luck. Happy shooting!

Great images. Especially the 2nd one. Its good to mix it up once in a while.
Really like the 2nd one, its color tone, light and proportion. I feel calm by just looking at it.
